NJ PBS ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF NEW MULTIPLATFORM CHAT BOX SEASONS WITH DAVID CRUZ AND REPORTERS ROUNDTABLE THIS WEEK
September 15, 2021 – NEWARK, NJ – NJ PBS, New Jersey’s public television network, has announced that new seasons of its popular public affairs series, Chat Box with David Cruz and Journalists roundtable with David Cruz launch this week. Both series are anchored by NJ Spotlight News senior political correspondent David Cruz.
Chat box, now in its second season on NJ PBS, hosts U.S. Senator Cory Booker as a guest this week, discussing a range of topics, including reconstruction and recovery from devastating Storm Ida. The public is invited to join the live online conversation and submit questions as the program unfolds on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube Channel Thursdays at 6.30 p.m. The series is then broadcast Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m. on NJ PBS (consult local listings).
Journalists roundtable with David Cruz Also kicks off its new season this week, with a new logo and graphics for the series that has become a perennial favorite on New Jersey public television. In this season opener, moderator David Cruz and a panel of Garden State reporters explore headlines, including in-person pandemic schooling, and the debate between parents, teachers, politicians and pediatricians over masks. , vaccines, variants and more. The panel also discusses the top political headlines of the day in New Jersey and around the country. As with Chat Box, Cruz welcomes live interaction with the Reporters Roundtable’s online audience and answers questions from the audience when the program airs on the. New Jersey Spotlight News YouTube channelI Friday at 10 a.m. The program then broadcasts Saturdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. on NJ PBS (consult local listings).
