How to Disable the Chat Box in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal has arrived in online storefronts and fans have been immersed in all the game has to offer. Of course, with the range of classes you can select when you start the game; you will be greeted with a lot of great choices to make for the game. As for some other choices, these can be hidden in the settings menu and one of them is the option to turn off the chat box if it annoys you. This guide article will tell you everything you need to know about how to disable the chat box for Diablo Immortal.

Disabling chat box for Diablo Immortal

To disable the chat box, you will need to go to settings. To do this, tap on the three lines at the top right of the screen and then tap on the cog icon on the screen which will take you to the settings menu. Now from here you can access the “Chat” section. Unfortunately, it’s currently not possible to completely disable the chat box, but you can have it so that it doesn’t appear on the screen as often.

In the section where it says “Channels in chat preview”, uncheck all the boxes that are currently checked, and when you return to the game, you will notice that the chat box minimizes, and now your screen can be seen a lot clearer. Also, the only time the chat box will pop up on its own is if someone messages you directly, but right now this is the most effective way to mute the chat box for Diablo Immortal.

If you’re playing with other people, you might want to keep some of the chat boxes checked, such as party chat, though that’s entirely up to you!

Diablo Immortal is now available for IOS, Android and is in open beta on PC.
